"Going Green" in the Kitchen
 
I have begun my own worm bin and delight in feeding my red worms
 instead of putting leftover food & paper products in the garbage.


Since many of us are on septic tanks and have no mechanical garbage disposal...the truth of the matter is that garbage disposals are NOT eco-friendly.
 
You should really try this method of disposal of food waste.  I started about 6-weeks ago with a smaller bin (like on the the video) and it works like a charm! 
 
The resulting vermicompost and "tea"  are excellent for houseplants, gardens, lawn. 
 
Oh, so convenient!!
