This Budget was the recommendations of the previous Mayor and Town Council. The Proposed Budget for 2009 is now on this website.
The present Financial Committee members are Mayor Derrick McElwanney; Keith Rhodes, Town Councilman; and Donna Camp, Town Clerk.
Budget was passed with 3/2 vote. In favor: Mayor McElwanney, Councilman Anderson, Councilman Rhodes

Sharpsburg started collecting taxes for the Town about four years ago (See your tax bill from the County) , you, the citizens, are paying directly for part of the operating expenses of the Town. Stay informed and participate in the budget process .
